What makes RackBoss 2.0 so good at preventing slop? It’s engineered with X24 Tech—heavy-duty PTFE bushings at both ends of the rack that remove play from the internals. Reducing play also keeps the tension spring nearly motionless. If you don’t need all the benefits of a RackBoss 2.0, you can dial it back to our original, more traditional RackBoss 1.0. It uses the same beefy housing but doesn’t include the extra PTFE bushing. Our RackBoss 1.0 Rack and Pinion comes with steel swaged tubes that are tougher than stock and perfect for casual riders looking for an upgrade. It’s finished with our tough 14 mm inner and outer tie rod ends so you can ride harder without worry.
